Hello! I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your generous donation for a fundraiser event to benefit Kristi and Lake Stamp. Kristi’s 41-year old husband died unexpectedly on April 17th.
The fundraiser will take place at Pat and Mike’s Bar, 9136 Bedford Avenue in Omaha on June 22, 2008 from 2 – 7 PM.
You can only imagine.
On Thursday, April 17th 2008, Kristi arrived at home to find her 5 year-old son, Lake in a house full of smoke. Lake told her that “daddy bumped his head and was sleeping”. Stunned, Kristi found her husband of 12 years lying on the kitchen floor. He had been cooking dinner when he collapsed and died. No one will ever know exactly how long Lake was without supervision in their home. There were Angels in the house with Lake, keeping the house from catching fire and watching over Lake. You can only imagine!
Kristi is a teacher at Fullerton Elementary School and has worked two part-time jobs to meet the family finances. At 35-years old, Kristi is realizing that she is now a widow. She is the strongest of the strong and she has a huge amount of faith. You can only imagine! Todd will be missed by many.
This fundraiser will help Kristi offset funeral expenses and the loss of family income. Funds will go towards a college fund for Lake. Kristi also planned to fulfill Todd’s promise to get Lake to Wrigley Field, to see daddy’s favorite team….the Cubs!
In order for us to maximize our fundraising efforts, we are asking you or your business for a donation to help sponsor a silent auction and raffle prizes.
